Stem Cells and Hyperbarics

Studies have found that hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) may offer excellent benefits for stem cell health and regeneration. The International Hyperbarics Association (IHA) lists the following as demonstrated benefits of HBOT for stem cells:
Accelerates growth and repair of damaged tissue
Improves tissue regeneration and organ functionality
Activates nitric oxide synthase type 3 (NOS-3)
Proliferates and mobilized bone marrow-derived stem cells
Improves engraftment and differentiation of progenitor cells in organs
Stimulates stromal-derived growth factor
